Anti-corrosion products

Can be used instead of mechanical processing for cleaning of rusty metallic surfaces before they are primed and painted. Before applying rust converter metal surface should be cleaned from the friable rust layer, the thickness of the rust layer cannot exceed 100 mkm. Greasy surface must be degreased using a solvent and cleaned from the dirt. Rust converter should be applied on a prepared surface with a brush, roller or sprayer. For a thicker rust layer rust converter should be applied repeatedly after 4-5 h. In case the temperature of the surface or air is higher than +25ºC, the rust converter layer applied on the metallic surface should be moistured every 2-3 h in order to prolong the action time of the converter. When reacting with rust, the converter creates a bluish brown layer on the metal surface that is resistant against corrosion. After processing the surfaces can be primed or painted in at least 24 h, it is recommended to wash it with water and dry it prior to priming. Working temperature cannot be lower than +5ºC.

SAFETY MEASURES: Work outside or in well ventilated premises, using rubber gloves, safety googles and work wear.

CONSUMPTION: 8-10 m2/ l.

STORAGE: Closed storage premises, at temperature from 0ºC to +30ºC. Keep away from freezing!
